UK Weather Info
UK weather varies significantly between seasons. Summers are warm and dry, but seldom hot with temperatures generally staying below 32 degrees. Autumn however tends to be quite active as strong Atlantic storms form with cold air moving out of the north over the warmer Atlantic waters.
Despite being located at nearly the same latitude as southern Canada, UK weather tends to be far less cold and wintry. This is due to global sea circulations transporting warm waters originating in the Gulf of Mexico to the Northeast Atlantic. These warmer waters have a large influence on moderating UK weather. Though snow does occasionally fall, particularly in the northern areas such as Scotland, large snowstorms are rare.
